About

The Alaskan Chocolate Company is an artisan chocolate and confection woman owned and operated. We are located in Homer, Alaska. Our owner is also our executive pastry chef and chocolatier. Her name is Katherine Terp Manoff and she goes by Katy.

Katy has spent her adult life acquiring knowledge around ingredients, classic French pastry technique, chocolate and all things sugar. 

She is a graduate of Amaury Guichon's Pastry Academy and has study under Chef Michel Ernots of The Pastry Academy and World Chocolate Masters Judge. She has also studied under Amaury Guichon "The Chocolate Guy" learning his masterful techniques in the art of chocolate showpieces and pastry. 

The Alaskan Chocolate Company prides itself in its dedication to sourcing Alaska grown products whenever possible and carefully selecting all ingredients that go into our confections and pastries. We are committed to using only the finest of couverture chocolates produced by Cacao Barry Chocolate and its affiliates. These commitments allow us to produced the highest quality hand made confections possible.
